A Short Bio
Jackie Kosmacki
Jackie is a NYC-based filmmaker from the Washington D.C. area who strives to create challenging, risk-taking new works in film and engage audiences with stories captivating and hopefully touching. They have been screenwriting since 2014 and have been directing film since 2015. A graduate of the University of Virginia in 2020, Kosmacki received a B.A. in the fields of Media Studies and Cognitive Science, and served as president of the Filmmakers Society for two years. They are now pursuing an MFA in Directing from the Feirstein School at Brooklyn College. With a lifelong passion for film, Kosmacki has long pursued a career as a director and has completed two feature films and six short films.
